In the previous post I have talked about the importance of the external factors such as hygiene and nutrition. Is in this point where I want to talk about the importance of good eating habits and to inform you about some foods that can harm your health and create imbalance in your body.
Due to the increased demand of more nutritional information in the visits, I believe is a good moment to give some basic advices that can help to make right decisions in your diet.
Basic concepts as dietary fats and fatty acids have to be taken in small quantities is very well-known but the reasons behind it is not so.
These two nutrients are important mediators of body inflammation due to their capacity to form inflammatory substances.
Fatty acids are important mediators of inflammation in the body and they affect internal balance lost. Other acids derived from meat and milk also stimulate inflammation.
Due to this circumstance, it is recommended to reduce the consumption of animal fats in order to reduce the inflammation process.
A healthy and recommended alternative is to intake fish oils as these are rich in acids that regulate and stop the proliferation of inflammatory substances in our body.
It is also known by numerous investigations that milk and dairy products, meat, shellfish, wheat and corn are foods that cause autoimmune disorders and may negatively affect our body creating imbalances such as arthritis, osteoarthritis or osteoporosis.
